This week's most interesting ponder: we (you, me, all of us) are actually designed for something that is so much bigger than ourselves. We are each an integral part of a grander plan. Whether you have a faith system that abides by this concept or not doesn't really matter when you look at it from the bigger-picture perspective too – why is this NOT possible? Why is this NOT the way that we choose to look at our lives?
Just imagine if that were true (and this exercise may shock even the most skeptical of people)... people would smile more. They would live WITH purpose and ON purpose. They would actually START TRYING again.
If you had a reason why you were absolutely without doubt a critical player in this game called Life, how much more effort would you put into your days? Your weeks? How much better would your results be because you were always just doing something that you loved?
And I get it – not everyone loves the job they have or the situation they live in or the circumstances they are dealing with. Sometimes things are tougher than others. That's reality. But I believe that it is also a reality that it is very possible to love your family, your friends, your home, your job, yourself more!!
And what if THAT is the reason why we are all here? To love? There is no grander purpose.
So my challenge for all of you this weekend, dear Readers, is to go out and love more! Show kindness whenever you can. Smile at strangers. Make that difference in the world that you have always said that you wanted to make. Together we are going to CHANGE THE WORLD!
